Welcome To My Jeep Page Welcome to my Full Size Jeep page,my name is Curtis Trickler and I have been a fsj owner since '94 when I purchased my first fsj, a 79 Cherokee Chief. Since then the chief has been sold but not forgotten. I've also aquired a couple more jeeps(wink wink), a 73 J-4000,74 Cherokee, and a 78 Wagoneer which is my current project vehicle with a chop top and 36" super swampers. The last few months have been busy with Travis growing up and working on the wagoneer. Ive just completed an axle swap, putting wide trac axles with 3.54 gears in place of the narrow trac axles with 3.07 gears that were stock. I also replaced the stock carb with an Edelbrock 1406 4 barrel. The rusted floorboards have had the bad areas cut out and will be replaced with some fresh metal which is going to be welded in tonight. The in cab roll bar hopefully will be going in next week 6/25 and then a little body work and a fresh coat of paint. |

About us My wife Karen and I now live in Covington ,Ga with our 2 year old son Travis. We enjoy camping and boating with our 18' fish and ski. I fish monthly tournaments with a local bass club. I finished 6th overall for the '00-'01 season and earned a trip to Lake Seminole for the Georgia B.A.S.S. Federation Top Six Tournament in April of '02. Well I went to Lake Seminole and had a good time,I finished in the top half out of nearly 400 competitors. I would have been in the top 100 but due to unfortunate boat troubles was disqualified on day 2 of the tournament for being 1 1/2 hrs late for weigh in. Dang! I weighed my only fish from the second day anyways and he came in at 5.25 lbs. Oh well, get 'em next year. |
Funky, huh !?! Who wants to look at boring ol' floorboard pics anyway. Well here it is,the choptop fresh out of the paintbooth/garage. I was originally going with Interstate Batteries Green but decided at the last minute to match it up with my boat instead, so I took a seat cushion with me and had the paint tinted to match. |
